Salt-Water Aquarium

SKU: AQS-WTSO01 Categories: ,

The Salt-Water Aquarium System treats up to 1000 litres of water, has reduced dimensions, and it’s easy to operate.

It oxidizes the organic waste, keeps the water clear and transparent, helps in algae control, and to maintain the water’s pH.

The Salt-Water Aquarium System treats the water by reducing the organic matter and ammonia present in the water that harms the health of the fish. It also helps to keep the water more crystalline and contributes to the oxygenation of the water.

Ozone improves water quality and, when used correctly, improves living conditions.

Description

The Salt-Water Aquarium System with O3 treats the water, decreasing the organic matter and the ammonia, which is harmful to the fishes’ health.

It helps the water to become more crystal clear and contributes to the water oxygenation and, it helps to maintain the pH.

The ozone improves the quality of the water, which supports an improvement in living organisms’ health conditions when used correctly.

Easy to install, to introduce this equipment in the normal operation of your aquarium, just place the diffuser stone inside your aquarium, in any area that ensures that the fish do not pass over the ozone bubbles (it is recommended to install it in the SAMP).

Then, the time of operation of the equipment for your aquarium is configured, having as a base of departure and recommendation approximately 4 to 5 minutes for every 100 litres of water.

Depending on the specific needs of the aquarium, the ozone generator can be adjusted for operating times.

The Salt-Water Aquarium System is easy to handle, with simple installation, reduced dimensions, and has a timer embedded.

Ozone does not leave residual, because when dissolved in water, it decomposes quickly in oxygen.

Because of its oxidative capacity, eliminates the chloramines, when present in the water and converts nitrites in nitrates.

In salt-water aquariums, the ammonia is oxidized for a less toxic form – nitrite and after for nitrate.

The optimal amount of ozone varies from an aquarium to aquarium and depends on several factors such as the volume of water to be treated, the fish species of the aquarium, the water flow, the amount of waste in the water, the number of fish in the aquarium, the type of biological filtration used and the additional equipment in use.

Ozone reduces the formation of algae and cyanobacteria due to its high oxidative power. It helps to decrease the number of toxins normally present in water and pathogenic bacteria harmful to the health of fish and plants.

It increases the ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) and the purity of the water, keeping it clear and crystalline.
